I have been in the hair industry since 2006, loving every day of it! I started my career at Zoe Salon, working there for 8 years.
I was at Salon First for quite some time thereafter until I decided to venture out on my own. For me, keeping up with the trends and continued education is SUPER important-it motivates and excites me.
New colors/products/techniques means that I have more options for you. And most importantly, my following trusts me enough to know what they will love.
I love the combination of Art and Science. There is so much room to “play” and be creative, I love color for that reason!

Born and raised in New York I spent my teenage years cutting and styling my friends and family’s hair. I attended Long Island Beauty School and worked in two full service salons. After moving to Maryland in 1996 I started teaching for MCPS, but I always kept my hands in the beauty business.
Returning to the salon full time in 2007 I worked in a full service salon in Derwood. Wanting to further my career and obtain some of my dreams and long term goals I found Symmetry Salon Studios.
Hair has been my passion for as far back as I can remember and I love creating for each individual that sits in my chair. After 31 years in the business I can honestly say it is never work. Hair for everyday wear, it should work for you at home, not just look good when you walk out the salon door.
