Dana Heimerl, Studio Six-Twelve

Dana always knew she would be putting her artistic vision to use professionally since childhood. Upon completing high school, she received a scholarship to Paul Mitchell: The Vision Academy in Allentown, PA. After receiving her cosmetology license, she began her career as a hair stylist and makeup artist. While developing a clientele at a local salon in Pennsylvania, she attended a beauty and special effects makeup program at Make-Up Designory in SoHo, NY.

The name, Studio Six-Twelve has personal meaning to Dana. At 22 years of age on June 12th 2012; Annapolis, MD came next in her adventure. She worked at an elite salon cultivating an entirely new clientele from zero and now has branched out to having her own studio here at Symmetry.

“Being able to transform people in such an artistic way has always fascinated me” says Dana. She is inspired by the world of beauty both in and out of the salon, and has always taken pride in continuing education and keeping up on the latest trends and product knowledge.

Tuesday-Saturday by appointment only.

Melanie Mansour

I have been in the hair industry since 2006, loving every day of it! I started my career at Zoe Salon, working there for 8 years.

I was at Salon First for quite some time thereafter until I decided to venture out on my own. For me, keeping up with the trends and continued education is SUPER important-it motivates and excites me.

New colors/products/techniques means that I have more options for you. And most importantly, my following trusts me enough to know what they will love.

I love the combination of Art and Science. There is so much room to “play” and be creative, I love color for that reason!

Suzanne Wieber

Born and raised in New York I spent my teenage years cutting and styling my friends and family’s hair. I attended Long Island Beauty School and worked in two full service salons. After moving to Maryland in 1996 I started teaching for MCPS, but I always kept my hands in the beauty business.

Returning to the salon full time in 2007 I worked in a full service salon in Derwood. Wanting to further my career and obtain some of my dreams and long term goals I found Symmetry Salon Studios.

Hair has been my passion for as far back as I can remember and I love creating for each individual that sits in my chair. After 31 years in the business I can honestly say it is never work. Hair for everyday wear, it should work for you at home, not just look good when you walk out the salon door.
