I started in the hair braiding business for 5 years. My mother, who inspired me to enter this business, has been a hair stylist for over 30 years. She moved from Georgia, where she was a full-time hair braider, to stay with me in Leesburg, Virginia. That is how M&D (for Mother and Daughters) braiding started.
